Tips for Overqualified Job Applicants

In today's dismal job market, many people find themselves in a position where they are applying for jobs for which they're overqualified. However, many employers have reservations about hiring overqualified people, mostly because they fear an overqualified employee will either be unhappy working in the position or will leave as soon as a better job presents itself. Michelle Singletary, a columnist for the Washington Post, offers some tips for landing these kinds of jobs. The link to her column is: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/04/18/AR2009041800125.html?wpisrc=newsletter.
